The second chapter of the "Troublesome Night" series, this movie consists of three stories. The first story is about a girl that called a radio show for advice and comfort after her boyfriend died tragically. One of the station DJs unconsciously suggested that she should commit suicide if she wants to be reunited with her beau. Unfortunately, the girl takes the suggestion and the DJ becomes racked with guilt as the girl's ghost returns to haunt him. The second story is about a group of friends voyage to the sea. During the trip, they encountered mysterious events after they rescued an eerie woman from a boat wreckage. The third story is about another DJ that quit his job after the untimely deaths of his co-workers. To escape the pain, he becomes a street racer. But, his thrill rides were hindered when he stumbled upon a sinister spirit by the roadside

두 편의 영화가 모두 실패한 감독 아성(장국영)은 애인 메이(막문위)에게 얹혀 사는 신세다. 간신히 일거리를 얻지만 3류 에로 영화를 찍기에는 자존심이 허락하지 않는다. 그러나 언제까지 놀고 먹을 수는 없는 일. 결심하고 촬영에 나선 아성은 사사건건 문제를 일으킨다. '예술'을 하려는 아성은 '장사'를 하려는 제작자와 궁합이 맞지 않는 것이다. 게다가 그의 영화는 사실 '예술'도 되지 못한다. 한심한 포르노를 찍는다는 패배의식은 아성을 무겁게 짓누르고, 여배우 몽교(서기)와의 사이를 의심하는 여자친구와도 크게 다툰다. 아성은 나날이 지쳐가던 중 수십편의 포르노를 분석하는 촬영 감독의 진지한 자세에서 새로운 사실을 깨닫는다.

Fai Chuen is a young man who wants to rise in the triad of Hong Kong. He's tough; he's respected by his friends; he loves Apple, daughter of his boss in the small-time Hung Lok gang in Wanchai; and, he encourages the studies of Chun, the son of his mother's closest relative. When Chuen comes to the attention of Piu, a top triad boss, the Hung Lok gang is assigned a hit; Chuen commits the murder and then is frustrated when Apple's father takes the fall. Chuen's cockiness gets him in trouble again when he disobeys Piu to revenge a friend's death. Chuen, who's reached the police bulletin board's most wanted, is now expendable. Can he and Apple escape to the Mainland?

The main characters are two male best friends, Jerry and Hui Lok (許樂), and their female friend, Cherie. The story revolves around their relationships with others, including Jenny and Kei Kei (琪琪), and each other. Jerry, Cherrie, and Lok are a pop trio, and the boys have agreed not to court Cherrie for the good of the group. Jerry's a feckless playboy, but he falls hard for the beautiful and talented Fonfong; she becomes his roommate as Cherrie looks on. Lok has two women in his life, the young and innocent Man-Yi, and Rachel, a mysterious minx into bondage and sexual excess. Things come to a head when Fonfong has a chance to study in Paris and Rachel takes things a bit far with Lok. It's time for Jerry and Lok to look around: is true love closer at hand? And what about Cherrie, who's been bruised often by Jerry: what will she decide?

This first spin-off movie focuses on Ugly Kwan, played by Francis Ng.
