Kosta's neighbor
A newly appointed teacher arrives at a remote village school in 1947. The famous journalist and distinguished poet was downgraded for illegal publications and forbidden anti-Soviet verses. Suspicious locals still prefer to test his loyalties, while children wilingly recite his verses from 'To My Soviet Motherland', written under pressure to prase Uncle Lenin. Eventually, an unforgotten friend shows him a secret wintery path to the Dainava resistance platoon's underground bunker.

1948년 2차 대전 이후 리투아니아의 현실을 그리고 있다. 소련군이 진주하면서 공산화에 반대하는 세력은 빨치산 활동을 벌이고 세상은 선악을 판단할 수 없는 안개 속에 휩싸인다. 영화는 일반적인 상식이나 선입견으로 재단하기 어려운 상황들로 인물들을 끌어들인다. 공산주의는 지주를 몰아내고 땅의 소유권을 박탈하지만 이런 조치에 모두가 환호할 수는 없다. 더군다나 그들이 외국인이고 소련군이라면 더 그렇다. 일군의 사람들은 산에 들어가 소련군에 저항하기위해 총을 든다. 하층 계급 출신이기에 아내의 멸시를 감내했던 남자는 소련군의 편도, 빨치산의 편도 될 수 없는 상황에 처한다. 한 청년이 목격하는 사건들을 통해 역사의 아이러니를 그린 작품이다.
Father
A grown-up son goes on a countryside trip with his ageing parents in the hopes of reigniting the relationship, but there is nothing left to reignite. This story of familial dysfunction is set against the picturesque backdrop of a dacha community (instantly recognisable to every post-Soviet native), rendered by Vytautas Katkas with irony and a rare sympathy for his hapless subjects.
Man with a Pumpkin
Seneca’s Day is set in the year 1989, the final period of the Soviet era in Lithuania. Eighteen-year old buddies establish the Seneca’s Fellowship with the motto “Live each day as if it was your last”. A love triangle breaks up the fellowship right at the time the nation experiences an exceptional sense of community via Baltic Chain.Twenty-five years later, the main character who at first glance appears to be accompanied by good luck, is disillusioned with himself. He has betrayed the ideals of his youth and become a cold observer of life.
Vytas' father
Vytas is a resident of a blocked houses quarter and he is just as dull as his neighborhood. Though the young guy is over his twenties, he still lives with his parents - spending their days watching TV. Vytas' girlfriend Ona is a bit different - she is independent, knows her likes and dislikes, has some friends - one of which she starts seeing more and more often. This leaves no sunshine in Vytas life at all and makes him wander for the truth in the maze of the blocked houses quarter.

During his grandmother’s birthday in her countryside village, surrounded by his family and after reassuring his son, he makes a final attempt to find resolve and peace. Farewell is a moving universal tale, uplifting and heart warming, verbally laconic and visually rich. It is a clear-cut story of the human spirit, which is both relentless and immortal.
An opera singer, who is a substitute for the primo uomo, has to spend the time of a performance routinely behind the scenes. He has yet no knowing that it will be his turn on that particular day to appear on the stage and replace an Italian singer who had fallen ill.
The film portrays Lukša's attempts, in trips to western Europe, to gain support for the armed anti-Soviet resistance (known as the Forest Brothers), whose fortunes in a guerrilla war against Soviet authorities were waning, largely due to widespread infiltration and harsh crackdowns by the NKVD.
