피어스(찰리 휴슨)의 공격으로부터 몇년 후 롤랜드 가족의 집으로 이사 오게 된 맥스 도일(라이언 오초아)는 우연히 '마법의 반지'를 얻게 된다. 그 반지를 통해서 니키(로숀 페건)와 타라(매디슨 페티스) 남매를 구해주게 된 맥스는 그렇게 피어스의 계획을 깨뜨리게 된다. 하지만 공동묘지에 갇혀 있는 피어스는 자신의 언데드 군단으로 세계를 지배하려는 야욕을 버리지 않았고, 할로윈이 다가오는 어느 저녁 공동묘지에 잠자고 있는 러시아 서커스의 별 엠마(캐롤라인 라거펠트)를 깨워 맥스의 반지를 빼앗을 계획을 세운다. 그것을 모르는 맥스는 엠마에게 빙의되어 이상한 행동을 하게되고, 그 때문에 학교에서는 정학을 당하는 것은 물론 집에서 외출금지까지 당하게 되는데...

After five years apart, searching the world of Krynn for proof of the existence of the true gods, a group of adventurers reach their goal in the form of a barbarian woman carrying a miraculous blue crystal staff. Soon they are thrust into war as an army of dragons overtakes their homeland.
