In 2011, Lai Chi-wai – one of the top rock climbers in Asia – lost everything when a motorcycle accident took away his ability to walk. Rather than succumbing to his fate, Lai found his own way of scaling those dizzying peaks again.

Three Mainland cops -Wu Ma and two assistants – come to HK to look for some crooks who are illegally procuring women for brothels from the Mainland. The two HK cops who are assigned to work with them are Waise Lee and Yukari Oshima. Later a Taiwanese cop also joins them and the friction between the three groups is evident – but in the end of course all three Chinas must work together to capture the bad guys!

Yam plays Brother Pao, a respected gang leader whose rep as a street fighter is one of the best. But Pao injures his head in a fight, which reduces his mental ability to that of a ten year-old. 사건마다 매번 실패만하는 말단 경찰 아견(주성치 분). 그에게 대만 암흑가 두목을 고발한 증인의 아들 소구(곽부성 분)를 찾으라는 명령이 떨어진다. 소구를 찾아낼 유일한 증거는 그가 학교에 다니고 있으며 히프에 개모양의 문신이 있다는 것. 아견은 국어 선생으로 위장, 학교에 부임하지만 자신의 신분을 감춘 에이스가 주동이 되어 선생을 무수히 골탕 먹인다. 할 수 없이 아견은 학생들에게 아부하기 위해 음료수를 주다 애인이자 역시 경찰인 관덕영(구숙정 분)이 학생으로 위장한 것을 발견한다. 덕영은 아견을 모르는체 하지만 체육선생인 미스 임(장민 분)이 아견을 몹시 좋아하자 은근히 질투를 하는데. 그러던 어느날 관덕영은 불량 여학생들을 포섭, 온갖 방법을 동원하여 소구를 찾으려하나 에이스는 기발한 아이디어로 피한다. 한달이 지나도록 수사에 진척이 없자 화가 치민 홍콩 경찰은 총비상이 걸리고 새로운 작전을 전개하던 중 대만에서 암흑가 두목 철광동에게 소구의 아버지가 살해 당하고 소구를 처치하기 위해 홍콩에 잠입했다는 정보를 입수한다. 긴장감은 점점 고조되고 마지막 종강파티가 벌어지는 날, 철광동의 부하들이 파티장으로 처들어 오고 아견이 경찰이라는 사실이 밝혀지자 파티장은 순식간에 위기감이 감돈다. 총을 빼어든 관덕영. 이때 옆에 있던 미스 임이 갑자기 관덕영에게 총을 겨눈다. 그녀는 소구를 잡기 위해 학교로 잠입한 철광동의 부하였는데....

겁 많은 경찰 후서견은 문제아들이 다니는 학교에 교사로 잠입한다. 아이들의 장난 때문에 하루하루 버티기조차 버거운 그의 앞에, 학생으로 위장해 수사 중인 전 여자친구 관덕경이 나타난다.

사랑하는 사이인 유이와 메이는 고향인 만주를 그리워하며 소련에서 살고 있다. 우연히 일본 비밀집단 팔백용이 살인하는 장면을 목격한 유이는 살해의 위협을 받고, 팔백용의 보스는 조직을 보호하기 위해 그를 납치한다. 심한 충격으로 기억 상실증에 걸린 유이는 제일의 킬러로 훈련을 받은 후 암호명 자유인으로 홍콩에 온다. 한편 유이를 찾아 홍콩에 온 메이는 팔백용의 다음 목표가 된다. 자유인은 메이를 구출하지만, 그녀를 알아보지 못한다. 이 때 메이와 찍은 사진을 발견한 자유인은 기억을 찾기 위해 메이를 보호해준다. 조직을 떠나 만주로 떠나려던 자유인은 그를 막는 보스와 일본에서의 불꽃튀는 혈전 끝에 메이를 구하지만 끝내 기억을 되찾지는 못한다. 그러나 자유인 유이는 가슴깊이 사랑하는 메이와 함께 그들의 고향, 참된 자유의 삶을 찾아 길을 떠나는데...

A cop and gangster melodrama revolving the lives of two cops and the two teenage girls they try to save.

황씨 집안은 아버지대부터 홍콩 경찰계에 몸을 담고 있는 집안이다. 그에겐 경찰에 몸담아 혁혁한 공을 세우고 있는 외아들과 4명의 딸들이 있다. 큰아들이 동료경찰인 리나와 결혼을 하자 큰딸 아령은 오빠를 뺏겼다는 생각에 은근히 새언니를 미워하게 되고 또한 같이 처리한 사건의 공로가 새 언니에게 돌아가 승진을 하자 더욱 싫어한다. 월남 난민 수용소에서 탈출한 난민이 홍콩으로 가기위해 큰 술집을 턴다는 정보를 입수한 경찰은 이들에게 이 사건을 맡긴다. 술집에서 이틀간 땅을 보던 이들은 그 월남난민이 나타나자 즉각 행동을 취했지만 아령의 엉뚱한 행동으로 인해 놓치고 만다. 이로 인해 아령이 상부의 문책을 당하고 이를 만회하기 위해 혼자서 월남난민을 체포하려 공원으로 가자 이를 알고 오빠와 리나가 뒤쫓아간다. 하지만 놈들의 덫에 걸려 오빠가 목숨을 잃게 된다. 이에 황가 사람들은 외아들을 죽인 범인을 다른 경찰손에 잡게 하기보다는 황씨집안사람이 힘을 합쳐 체포해야한다는데 의견을 모으고 현장으로 가지만 거기엔 이미 서로 앙숙이던 아령과 리나가 의기투합하여 범인 일당을 처치한 후였는데...

Lee Wai is just been released from prison and is trying to start a new life. He has been imprisoned for commiting a robbery. He visits a gangster, Wong, who had been his partner in the robbery, to ask for his share, which Wong had actually already spent. Wong humiliates him. Later he gathers together a gang and smashes Wais taxi, which Wai relies on to make a living. Now, all hell breaks loose.
