During the riots of 1997 in Albania the retired photographer PETRO travels from his hometown Gjirokastra to the capital Tirana. He has taken pictures of a killing with his Super-8-camera and wants to get the film developed. Petro doesn't know that he shot material that shows how a TV-camera causes the death of a man and his granddaughter in order to get a good story. Unfortunately Petro meets this cameraman - BERTI - on the trip to Tirana. When the film is finally developed Petro gets to know the truth - and he knows his life is in danger! After many adventures on the road he tries at last to present the film to the public. But he must realize that the material was stolen. So only Petro knows the truth while the media spread lies about the deaths of Girokastra.

매일 아침 형사 둘리(제임스 벨루시 분)와 그의 애견 제리는 함께 하루를 시작한다. 아침 식사와 몸단장을 완벽히 마친 둘은 출근하던 중 은행의 현금 출납기 앞에서 괴한으로부터 공격을 받게 되고 은행현금 수송차량과 보안요원들과 함께 대치하게 된다. 그러던 중 괴한은 도주하고 이에 둘리와 제리는 괴한을 추격하지만 체력의 한계로 그만 눈앞에서 괴한을 놓치고 만다. 안타깝게 범인을 놓치고 경찰서로 돌아온 둘리와 제리는 반장에게 추궁을 당하고 범인이 남기고 간 총의 출처와 범인을 찾기 위한 수사가 동시에 진행된다. 이 때 둘리를 노리던 범인은 도청장치를 통해 수사과정을 엿듣고 이에 대처하기 시작한다. 한편 둘리와 제시는 체력 테스트를 받은 후 둘 다 다이어트를 해야 한다는 의사의 충고에 따라 약해진 체력을 보강하기위해 운동을 하기 시작하지만 갑작스런 운동으로 둘은 금세 지쳐버리고 만다. 잠깐동안 휴식을 취하던 중 둘리의 집으로 범인의 전화가 걸려오고 또 다시 범인의 공격을 받게 된다. 다음 날 출근한 둘리와 제리는 새로운 파트너인 미모의 여경관 월레스(크리스틴 투치 분)와 그의 개 제우스를 만난다. 이들은 모두 파트너가 되어 사건을 해결하기 위해 수사를 진행한다. 서로 다른 사고방식의 두 사람은 처음부터 손발이 잘 맞지 않지만 수사를 위해 찾아간 권투장에서 사건의 실마리가 조금씩 풀리게 된다. 공범의 소재를 알아낸 둘리와 월레스는 힘겨운 총격전 끝에 공범을 체포한다. 수사가 계속 되던 어느 날 둘리에게 또 다시 범인의 전화가 걸려오고 이번엔 월레스를 죽이겠다며 협박한다. 다급해진 둘리는 월레스에게 전화를 걸지만 통화가 되지 않아 경찰서로 달려간다. 그런데 경찰서에 있는 월레스는 이미 범인의 인질로 잡혀있다. 경찰서에 도착한 둘리는 제우스의 도움으로 그녀를 무사히 구하고 범인과 맞대응 하게 되는데...

고가의 미술품 털이범 에릭(Eric: 크리스 웨버 분)과 모가나(Morgana: 홀리 필드 분)는 고대 유물을 털기 위해 박물관에 침입한다. 그러나 경보기가 울리는 바람에 그들은 경비원과 총격전을 벌이게 되고 황급히 박물관을 빠져 나온다. 그러나 그 와중에 에릭은 파손된 조각상 안에 내장되어있던 이상한 돌을 손에 넣게 된다. 그러나 격렬한 총격전 끝에 에릭은 결국 총상을 입고 모가나만 빠져 나온다. 그 직후 부상당해 있는 에릭 앞에 무시무시한 괴물이 모습을 드러낸다. 그의 이름은 진. 3천년동안 마법에 걸려 그 이상한 돌 속에 갇혀 있다가 모가나와 에릭 덕분에 세상에 모습을 드러낸 것이다. 그는 에릭의 영혼을 뺏고 곧 세상 밖으로 나온다. 그가 찾아간 곳은 교도소. 진의 목적은 이 세상을 자신이 지배하는 악마의 세상으로 바꾸고, 자신도 영생을 얻고자 하는데 있다. 그러기 위해선 인간의 소원을 한가지씩 들어주고, 그 대신 천명의 영혼을 얻어와야 하는데, 온갖 불만과 바라는 것이 많은 교도소가 그가 찾는 적합한 장소이기 때문이다. 교도소에 순수히 들어온 진은 죄수들의 소원을 들어주고 대신 인간의 영혼을 계속해서 뺏는다. 소기의 목적을 달성한 그가 찾은 두번째 장소는 카지노. 그가 들어오면서 카지노는 일대 소동이 일어나고, 그에게 소원을 말한 사람들은 한 명도 빠짐없이 진에 의해서 무참히 죽어나간다. 한편 에릭을 잃고 슬픔에 잠겨 있던 모가나는 TV를 통해 진의 존재를 알게 되고, 신부로 있는 자신의 친구와 함께 그를 찾아가 그의 정체를 알아낸다. 하지만 진은 예언을 실행하기 위해 무차별적으로 사람들의 영혼을 수집하며, 이제 때가 되었노라고 모가나를 협박한다.

Zena (Dominique Blanc) lost her parents as a very young girl, and though she was born in Albania, only knows about life in Paris. She was raised by her uncle Selman (Sulejman Pitarka), whom she is about to leave behind in order to start a new life in New York. Just before she leave, however, she hears of an Albanian who is being detained by French authorities for want of the proper paperwork. Ordinarily, that would not capture her attention. However, Vladimir (Timo Flloko), who is the man in question, claims to have information that Zena's father is not dead, and could be located. Zena postpones her trip to speak with Vladimir and, once he is free to travel, they begin to try and explore his information. There is only one problem in their traveling around France together: he doesn't speak a word of French, and she doesn't speak a word of Albanian. Somehow, they manage to communicate, and they eventually become lovers.

Adaptation of the novel "Prilli i thyer" by Ismail Kadare. The April of 1939 is the month of honeymoon and a month of tragedy for writer Besian Vorpsi and his wife Diana. Such is this month for Gjorg Berisha too, who is enjoying his last month of freedom in the mountains. Afterwards, according to the Kanun, he will have to shut himself inside his tower, as he has avenged his brother's death. Aka The Uninvited, Unwanted Guests.
