미국 상원 의원의 아들인 전투기 조종사가 시리아 영공을 비행하던 중 격추된다. 긴급 탈출로 기적적으로 생존하지만 곧 민병대의 포로가 된 상황. 이에 특수 부대원들이 현지로 급파되고, 조종사를 구해내기 위해 위험천만한 작전을 개시한다.
