호텔 하이비스커스(hibiscus)는 1박 4천 엔을 받는 곳으로, 말괄량이 초등학생 미에코와 미모의 엄마, 당구를 잘 치는 아빠, 흑인 혼혈의 켄지, 백인 혼혈의 사치코, 그리고 담배 피는 아줌마 등이 이 호텔의 가족이다.
