This is a short and poignant story about the life of the main heroine Anna and her hellish journey from dream to become a film actress, through communist torture, to the monastic quarters. A story of double standards, hypocrisy and cruelty of the past and present.
The search for the Secret Book of the Bogomils brings Guy Chevalier (Thierry Fremont) to Macedonia. There, he is haunted by the spirit of the Gardian of the book and followed by unknown forces. Little by little, he starts loosing his mind and his identity.

After a quarrel with his wife, a man leaves their apartment with one suitcase only. Having slept in a train station, the police legitimates him and found him suspicious. Soon he'll find himself locked in a prison with several other, mostly innocent people. The true horror begins only then.
The story takes place in March of 1943 during transportations of Jews from Skopje. Nikola is a surgeon who was taken his working license away, and spends evening hours at the local bar where German officers, along with Bulgarian officer Simeonov, play Russian roulette with their gun pointed at prisoner's head. After suicide of one German mayor, Nikola and the prisoner escape.
