두 미국인 고등학생이 스페인어를 배우기 위해서 유럽의 기숙학교로 간다. 그들은 스페인어를 배우기 위해 노력한다. 유럽의 생활에 적응하려고 애쓰고 있던 중, 그곳에서 그들은 할로윈 데이를 맞게 된다. 이 날 가면을 둘러 쓰고 도살장에서나 볼 수 있는 큰 식칼을 든 미치광이 살인마가 나타난다. 학교 주변에서는 한 명씩 처참하게 살해되어간다. 이 둘은 살인마의 위협에 시달리게 되고, 위험에 처한다. 이 살인마는 톱과 송곳 등의 무기로 잔인하게 사람을 죽여간다. 이 둘은 점점 공포에 미쳐가고, 살인마의 위협은 더해진다.
