어린 남매를 돌보는 베이비시터가 있는 한 가정집에서 이상한 비디오테잎을 발견한다. 아이들의 요구에 틀어보니 다큐멘터리 같은 영화는 잔인하게 사람을 살해하는 내용이었다. 오싹한 느낌에 베이비시터는 영상을 끄고 아이들이 영상을 못보게 하지만 그 이후로 집에서 이상한 일들이 일어나기 시작한다.
