WEC 39: Brown vs. Garcia Took place on March 1, 2009 in Corpus Christi, Texas. The event aired live on the Versus Network.WEC Featherweight Champion Mike Brown made his first title defense against number one contender Leonard Garcia.

WEC 37: Torres vs. Tapia was a mixed martial arts event held by World Extreme Cagefighting on December 3, 2008 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event aired live on the Versus Network. WEC Bantamweight Champion Miguel Torres successfully defended his title again against Manny Tapia in the main event of the evening. In addition, former IFL standout Wagnney Fabiano made his WEC debut on this card. The Mark Munoz-Ricardo Barros fight was the final light heavyweight bout to be put on by the WEC. The division was absorbed into the UFC following this event. The event drew an estimated 671,000 viewers on Versus.

WEC 31: Faber vs. Curran was a mixed martial arts (MMA) event held by World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC). The event took place on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and was aired live on the Versus Network. The main event featured a featherweight title match between champion Urijah Faber and challenger Jeff Curran. The card also featured Doug Marshall defending his light heavyweight championship against Ariel Gandulla and Paulo Filho defending his middleweight championship against Chael Sonnen. The event drew an estimated 629,000 viewers on Versus.

WEC 28: WrekCage was the fourth mixed martial arts event held by the World Extreme Cagefighting under Zuffa management. The event was held on June 3, 2007. WEC 28 was the first WEC to be aired live on the Versus Network. The main event was a Featherweight title defense by WEC Featherweight champion, Urijah Faber.

WEC 25: McCullough vs. Cope was the first mixed martial arts event held by the World Extreme Cagefighting under Zuffa management. The event was held on January 20, 2007. WEC 25's main event was a championship fight for the vacant WEC Lightweight Title, between rivals Rob McCullough and Kit Cope. The co-main event was a WEC Featherweight Title bout between champion, Urijah Faber and challenger Joe Pearson.

WEC 23: Hot August Fights was a mixed martial arts event held on August 17, 2006. WEC 23's main event was a championship fight for the WEC Light Heavyweight Title between champion Lodune Sincaid and challenger Doug Marshall.

The Ultimate Fighter 1 Finale was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on April 9, 2005. Featured were the finals from The Ultimate Fighter 1 in both the Middleweight and Light Heavyweight divisions. Even though the main attraction of the event was Rich Franklin vs the UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock the spotlight was stolen by the incredible bout between Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar. Hailed as one of the greatest fights in MMA history by many, Forrest and Stephan produced a 3 round stand up war that went the distance. Although Forrest Griffin would take the decision both men were given UFC contracts for their amazing performance.
