Four episodes – Christmas, May 1st (Labour Day), August 15th (Ferragosto), Halloween – to tell four stories that delve into the human soul.

Giulia is constantly torn between the need to feel at home and be loved and a wild desire for freedom. One day she finds herself homeless and begins, in her own crazy way, to seek shelter and her own place in the world. Between an illusory desire for motherhood and ways to make ends meet, she spends the hottest days of a torrid Roman summer surrounded by elusive characters with empty lives, yet pure and wonderful like her. In a limbo made up of nothing (and everything), Giulia understands that it is up to her to decide how to live, or not to live, her own life.

Ettore has spent the last five years in jail for a robbery. Once out of prison, he has nowhere to go, his wife broke up with him and doesn’t want him to meet their little daughter who was born right before he was arrested. Alone and desperate, Ettore roams the streets of Rome and meets a strange old man, Nicola. He decides to take advantage of him and rob him. But after breaking into his house, Ettore realizes Nicola doesn’t have anything worth stealing and furthermore, the old man tells him a rather stranger thing: he affirms to be Santa Claus…

Short film freely drawn from the life of the Italian poetess Alda Merini specially designed as an installation for the exhibition at the Milano Art Gallery from 24 January to 13 February 2020, in occasion of the 10th anniversary of her death.

주인공 알레시아는 어릴 적에 부모님이 마약사범으로 잡혀가고, 불행한 인생을 살아왔다. 그런 알레시아가 다니는 우체국으로 비리가 있고, 죄가 있는 사람들을 불러 모은다. 그리고 영문도 모른 채 갇힌 그들. 그들은 피해자이지만 동시에 알레시아와 같은 사람들에게 가해자이기도 한 사람들이다. 우체국 안에서 과연 누가 피해자이고, 누가 가해자인가에 대한 추론이 시작된다.

Gabriele is a divorced dad who owns a music store and is completely focused on taking care of his 10-year-old daughter Sofia who spends time with both parents. 아르투로는 뛰어난 요리 실력을 가진 유명 셰프지만 욱하는 성질로 인해 몇 차례 싸움을 하고 형을 받았다. 싸움으로 인해 사회봉사로 아르투로는 아스퍼거 증후군을 가진 아이들이 있는 기관에서 요리 수업을 하게 된다. 그곳에서 아르투로는 요리에 대한 재능과 절대 미각, 그리고 열정까지 갖춘 20살 청년 귀도를 만난다. 한편, 싸움 이후 직장을 잃었던 아르투로는 일할 곳을 찾던 중 북쪽 지역에 있는 레스토랑 운영을 제안 받게 된다. 새로운 일자리를 결정지을 중요한 일정을 앞둔 채 아르투로는 토스카나에서 열릴 요리경연대회에 귀도의 멘토로 동행해줄 것을 부탁 받게 된다. 며칠 동안 함께하게 된 아르투로와 귀도, 과연 둘은 원하는 것을 이루고 친구가 될 수 있을까? 진지한 청년 귀도와 분노를 조절하지 못하는 아르투로, 생각도 성격도 다르지만 음식에 대한 마음만큼은 통하는 둘의 좌충우돌 이야기에 미소 짓게 되는 코미디영화다.

A poetic adventure of two children who arrive from a small village in outing to Rome and, in front of an unexpected, decide to escape from their mother

Francesco, Carlo, Loco e Giordano, lifelong friends, depart from Rome towards Madrid to celebrate the bachelor party of Francesco but above all to make, as happened on other occasions, a trip together. In fact, the trip is also an excuse to go see their favorite team away in the Champions League. In their path intersect to Pilar, a beautiful Spanish singer who, unknowingly, brings havoc within a close-knit group favoring, including unexpected, laughter and comical situations, even the come to diversity afloat, insecurities and never those words. On their return, nothing will be as before.

Adele is suffering from a terrifying recurring dream; a dream that often borders on reality, and even enters it in the form of horrible visions which climax during an evening stroll in the center of Rome. The medical findings don't reveal anything noteworthy and her brother, who was with her that evening, is diagnosed with a simple seizure. A pair of twisted tales from two filmmakers that are quickly emerging as the next generation of Italian Horror directors. Episode One: Celeste and her husband rent a country house for the holidays. An earthquake recently destroyed part of the small town, and the house seems to have been recently renovated ... but with much haste. Often alone in the house, Celeste begins to experience horrible visions that seem to emerge from the cracks in the walls. As her mind begins to slip away,she continues to see and hear things that can't be explained, especially to her skeptical husband. Episode Two: Yuri and Max have been friends for a lifetime, spending their evenings drinking and discussing their lives. But this particular evening will be their last.

Garage owner Angelo and big-time film producer Alberto find themselves occupying neighbouring beds in a Rome hospital after suffering heart attacks. Alberto is a gregarious joker - and chain smoker - who has a strong effect on the impressionable Angelo. However, as one of the men's condition deteriorates, the other becomes more deeply involved in his personal life.

In 1838 in the kingdom of Naples and the Two Sicilies, Malacarne, gamekeeper of Baron San Germano, kills the bandit Caruso, whose widow gives birth to Giovanni and at the same time becomes the nurse of Costanza, San Germano’s orphaned daughter. Thirteen years later, Giovanni and Costanza fall in love to the jealousy of her uncle, who shuts her in a convent, ordering Giovanni to be killed by Malacarne who has meanwhile become a bandit. Barely alive, Giovanni is taken away by Bourbon soldiers. After Garibaldi’s arrival in Sicily and its union with Italy, Costanza is freed from the convent and returns to San Germano. She is visited by Giovanni and although still loves him, rejects him since she wishes to become a nun. In the meantime, Giovanni kills Malacarne and takes his place. Costanza marries the rich Lo Turco and the next day departs for Naples, but during the journey the carriage is attacked by Giovanni’s band. Costanza flees with him and they leave for America.
