On the way to visit Shun, who didn't attend class, Hiroshi and Anna are drawn by a mysterious butterfly and enter the big house “Jail House”. They get lost and wander around the house. Meanwhile, Takuro, Mika and Takeshi, who bullies Shun, enter the “Jail House” to test their courage.

Five flashy Roidmudes seem to be causing a “thick air” event, and when Shinnosuke goes to investigate, turns out the problem was being caused by a yokai. After arresting the red one, Shinnosuke starts interrogating. He claims to be a ninja fighting yokai and that he’ll show Shinnosuke. Chuya, who spends his days in a local city without any purpose or dream, suddenly decides to go to Tokyo. His best friends: J, Gizmo, and Machida, from high school try to hold a big farewell party on the last day that Chuya spends locally, but Chuya remembers the past. 때는 쇼토쿠 1711~1716년, 남자들의 얼굴에 붉은 반점이 일어나 결국 죽음에 이르는 이른바 '적면포창'이 유행하고, 남자의 수는 급격히 감소. 남녀의 입장은 역전되었다. 이는 오오쿠도 다르지 않았고, 쇼군 또한 여성이 대를 잇기 시작, 오오쿠는 여성이 아닌 미남자들로 가득차기 시작했다. 유노신은 가정이 어려워 좋아하는 여성을 고향에 남겨둔채 녹봉을 받는 오오쿠에 들어간다. 하지만 오오쿠는 남자들의 온갖 권모술수가 난무하는 곳이었다. 유노신 또한 오오쿠 내의 겁탈과 협박에 틈에서 힘겨워한다. 곧은 심성의 유노신은 그런 가운데에서 쇼군에 눈에 들어 그녀의 고나이쇼(첫잠자리 상대자)가 된다. 하지만 고나이쇼는 참형에 처하는 오오쿠의 법도가 있는데.....
