외계 생명체의 무자비한 공격으로 지구가 아비규환에 빠지고 미국은 대 공격을 받는다. 침략한 거대 외계 로봇은 인간들을 무차별적으로 살상한 뒤 지구 재건 작업에 착수하여 그들이 살 수 있는 곳으로 행성 개조를 시작한다. 폐허가 된 도시들은 점점 늘어나고 인간들은 외계인들의 먹잇감으로 잡혀가지만 군대가 초토화되고 대통령마저 사망한 상태에서 인간들은 점점 희망을 잃고 죽음만을 기다린다. 한편 마리사를 비롯한 몇몇 용감한 생존자들이 무기를 모으고 폭탄을 제조하여 외계 생명체에 대항해 싸운다. 지구를 구하기 위해 끝까지 굴하지 않고 반격하는 인간들의 목숨을 건 저항을 하고 이들은 과연 아름다운 지구의 미래를 지켜낼 수 있을 것 인가…
