Arun Nath is an Indian actor known for his work in the Assamese film industry. He made his acting debut in Sonetara (1973). Since then he has acted in movies like Duranir Rong (1979), Sarbajan (1985), Agnisnaan (1985), Kolahal (1989), Sarothi (1991), Meemanxa (1994), Hkhagoroloi Bohu Door (1995), Love In Tawang (2016) and Borhxaranya (2016). Arun Nath stars alongside Runu Devi, Arup Baishya and Jupitora Bhuyan in Hemanta Kumar Das’ directorial debut, Othello (2017). Ranjit Sarma has penned the storyline. Othello won the National Award for Best Film (Assamese) in 2015. His other 2017 movie includes Antareen, directed by Monjul Baruah.

It's a Long Way to the Sea
Powal is a boatman in Nemuguri village that is situated on the bank of the river Dihing. Since there is no bridge at that point of the river, Powal's job is assured. For some three generations his forefathers have been ferrying people to and fro. Life goes on smoothly until Powal begins to hear persistent reports about a bridge to be built across the river.
