과거 남자에게 배신을 당하고 술집에서 일하게 된 지지는 손님들의 많은 유혹을 받지만 거절하고 꿋꿋하게 살아간다. 그러던 어느날 지지는 아룡(막소총 분)을 만나게 되는데 옛날의 아픈 상처 때문에 마음을 주려하지 않는다. 한편 아룡에게 아치(주성치 분)라는 친구가 있는 데 이들은 과거에 건달생활을 하여 결국은 사랑하는 사이가 된다. 지지와 아룡은 드디어 결혼날짜를 잡고 동거를 한다. 하지만 지지는 아룡의 친구인 건달들을 싫어하여 이런 이유로 둘은 갈등을 겪게 된다. 결국 지지는 아룡의 겉을 떠나게 되고 그후, 아룡은 택시운전을 하면서 새로운 삶은 개척해 나가는데 어느날 아룡의 택시에 지지가 타면서 지지가 다른 남자와 결혼하여 아들까지 낳았다는 것을 알게 된다.
