뭔가의 공격을 받아 폐쇄된 비밀 지하연구시설에 특공대가 투입된다. 특공대는 누구든 마주치는 죄수는 사살하도록 명령을 받았으나, 분대장 '로미오' 는 죽은 자신의 아내와 닮은 '이브' 를 발견하고, 혼돈에 빠진다. 급기야 명령에 불복하고 '이브' 를 동행시키기로 하는데... 한편, 다른 분대는 고급 연구원과 마주치게 되고, 이곳의 연구 내용을 추궁하지만, 그는 '이브' 가 극도로 위험한 무기라는 말만 되풀이 한다. 대체 이곳엔 무슨 일이 일어났으며, 이브는 누구인가?
