A little-known Hong Kong crime film.

The plot involves the search for the elusive "Bamboo Stick," an aged kung fu master played by Simon Yuen, who kills a local crime boss's son after taking the place of the son's forced bride on the wedding night. Lee Hoi San plays the crime boss who will stop at nothing to get Bamboo Stick. Chan Lung plays a respected courier, one of Bamboo Stick's former students, who is framed for theft and pursued by the gang, in the hopes that Bamboo Stick will come to help him. Cliff Lok plays a wandering aspiring kung fu student and noodle maker who is mistaken for Bamboo Stick after fighting off some thugs who attack a woman.

A group of Vietnamese refugees are brought to Hong Kong as a previous step to be transported to another country in order to start a new life. In the Hong Kong refugee camp they will have to learn how to survive in order not to be despised by other fellow countrymen or even by Hong Kong citizens.

중국 땅 보광사에 일본인들에게 부모를 잃고 구사일생으로 도망친 정리 남매가 금가대사의 보호를 받고 있다. 정리는 고향으로 돌아가 한을 풀기위해 금강대사에게 무술을 배워 뛰어난 고수가 된다. 정리는 또한 잃은 나라를 되찾기 위해 조선청년들을 모아 피나는 훈련을 한다. 일본인들은 이를 알고 방해공작을 편다. 한편 중국인 청년 아호는 양모의 배려로 아버지를 찾아 나섰다가 모진 학대와 멸시를 받던 중 사부를 만나 용형마교의 무술을 익히게 된다. 때마침 청국에서는 황제의 생일축하 무술대회가 열린다. 여기에 정리는 러시아로부터 군자금을 받는 목적으로 러시아의 무사로 출전하고 아호는 일본 대표로 출전한다. 정리의 태권에 추풍낙엽이 될 즈음 보광사는 일본 닌자에 의해 공격을 받고 있었다. 누이동생이 치는 경종을 듣고 달려간 정리는 일본대장 다께다를 죽이나 금강대사를 잃은 뒤였다.
