Koe Shern

A dark drama about the relationship between a high school student and his young tutor. When the boy is being punished for not doing his homework, he starts to develop affection for the teacher until he realizes the teacher herself maybe just like him is another victim of torment and bullying.

바닷가 마을에 방사능 화학 공장 건설로 한바탕 소동이 일어난다. 이상주의적인 교사와 일군의 고등학생들은 어느 순간 고향의 영혼을 위해 싸우고 있는 자신들을 발견한다. 실화에 기반한 영화 은 사랑을 찾으려 하지만 정치와 슬픔에 갇혀버린 말레이시아 역사와 젊은이들에 대한 호소력 있는 이야기다. (2015년 제12회 서울환경영화제)
