Tarugani
X years after the “Shima pshoo” incident, aging Tarugani and Papajo are best friends who live in Patai Village, where those who failed to die continue to exist. When the two find themselves framed as thieves who stole an illegal substance from the local store, they set out on the road, chased by three dripping wet mysterious women.
This drama depicts a boy's coming of age against the backdrop of Okinawa's food culture. Director Nakamura Ryugo was born in 1996. He made this film, his feature debut, when he was just fourteen years old. Okinawa has an old tradition of eating a goat for celebratory occasions. But that culture is starting to fade in urban areas. Yuto (Uehara Soji), a sixth grader living in Naha, spends his winter vacation in the countryside town where his grandparents reside. He receives a shock when he sees the goat raised by his grandfather killed by locals.

"후키,생일 축하해..." 언제나 이렇게 시작하는 엄마의 편지는 마치 바로 곁에서 후키를 지켜보고 있는것처럼 어린 후키를 격려하고 용기를 준다. 언젠가부터 아빠의 카메라로 조금씩 사진촬영을 계속해온 그녀. 14세 생일날, 엄마로부터 "20살 생일이 되면 모두 다 설명해 줄께" 라는 편지를 받는다. 그러던 어느날 사진공부를 위해 도쿄로 가려는 마음을 굳힌 후키. 할아버지의 반대를 무릅쓰고 섬을 떠나 도쿄행을 결심한 그녀. 그런 그녀에게 드디어 20번째 생일이 찾아 온다.
