"피어 엑스"로 흥행에 참패한 윈딩 레픈에게 재기의 기회가 된 작품. 전편에서 프랭크의 친구로 등장했던 토니가 주인공이고, 다시 미켈슨이 이 역을 맡았다. 감옥에서 출감한 토니는 새로운 출발을 결심하고 일자리를 얻기 위해 아버지를 만나러 가지만, 일은 생각만큼 쉽게 풀리지 않는다. (2012년 제16회 부천국제판타스틱영화제)
