교내 축제를 앞둔 어느 고등학교. 시모베 선생은 36명의 아이들을 시청각실에 불러 모아 영상 하나를 보여준다. 기괴하고 음울한 화면들이 반복되는 영상을 본 아이들 중 하나가 뜬금없이 자살을 하고 아이들은 혼란에 빠진다. 그런 아이들에게 자신이 영상을 통해 시그널이 발동되면 자살하게 되는 최면을 걸었다고 말하는 시모베 선생. 자살로 이끄는 시그널의 종류가 100가지라는 것과 다른 아이들이 모두 죽고 홀로 살아남아야 최면이 풀린다는 사실을 알게 된 아이들 앞에 생존을 위한 충격의 아수라장이 펼쳐진다.

A young man trying to become a hairstylist finds the run-down apartment he's in may have a troubled past; A new nurse finds work with an old hospital where her young patient moves a coin around pointing to who will die next; clumsy businessman finds his clumsiness being transmitted to others when he's given a cursed votive tablet; several high school girls visit a friend at the hospital only to find "something" may have gotten on the elevator with them; a pond out in the country sends a strange call out to a man on vacation with his family and finally a young woman having difficulty at her job worries she's seeing images of her dead father everywhere.

Akahane Yu moves to a dormitory room after her father's transfer at work. She and Haruto aka "Black Devil" have the worst meeting. Since then, Haruto treats her like his slave. The only person who is kind to her is Takumi aka "White Prince”. Haruto orders Yu to go to her middle school reunion, but Yu, who doesn't want to remember her middle school days, refuses.
