On a winter night in a ski resort in the French Alps, Mona, a young Italian seasonal worker, has locked herself out. She is struggling in the cold while looking for shelter. Her nighttime journey takes her near an unknown presence.

Bonifacio 1883, extreme south of Corsica. The widow of the late Saverini lives in an isolated house near the cliffs, with her only son Antoine, and her dog. During the day, she assists women giving birth in town. One night her son is killed in a clash. The murderer flees to Sardinia. Her world falls to pieces.

태국 특수 범죄 수사대의 요원 토니(시자르 몬타노)는 아름다운 여인을 괴롭혀 죽이는 악령을 마주한다. 여자친구까지 잃게 된 그는 복수를 다짐하는데, 토니를 좋아하는 그의 파트너 제인(메그 임페리얼)을 포함한 그의 주변인의 신변이 위험해진다. 이미 일본에서 많은 사람의 목숨을 앗아간 이 악령은 사무라이 집안의 여성을 노리는 듯하다. 미유키(마리아 오자와)는 마닐라에서 가족 사업을 물려받아 지내고 동생인 아카네는 나이든 아버지를 보살핀다. 후에 미유키는 아카네가 사라지고 아버지를 잃은 뒤 분노에 이끌려 반강제적으로 수사대를 도와 악령을 저지하러 나서게 된다.
