Ana and Lars are spending their summer holiday on an island in the Adriatic sea. It seems like paradise, until an unexpected encounter puts their relationship to the test, forcing them to re-evaluate what they really want from each other.

Two crooks looking to scam tourists organize a tour of an abandoned manor house rumored to be haunted by the cousin of Count Dracula. Their first group consist of a Swedish Satanist, two French goths and a Russian porn director. But the scam descends into bloody chaos when the tour is attacked by a Nazi cannibal wielding a circular saw.

Somewhere in Europe a Greek owes to a French, who owes to a Slovenian and she owes to an Italian, who owes money to the Greek. A German owes no one, she just wants to get a good night's sleep. The Brit is looking for an exit. The film is shot in one take with a crew and actors coming from over ten countries. Everyone speaks their language and they all understand each other.

Awakenings is a story about growing up, despite the fact that the main characters are are entering their 40's. It is set in the bedrooms of the six protagonists, where they discuss their everyday dilemmas, secrets, fears and hopes. Their awakenings are not only physical but primarily emotional.

After an assassination attempt, a broke mob wife takes over his husband's dirty work and collects her husband's debt with the help of her best friend - a hairdresser and her step daughter.

Due to psychological issues with performing his secret mission the undercover detective visits a private psychiatrist and tells her about the reason for his visit. When she thinks the detective is just another ordinary patient with a need for a "cathartic" conversation and discussing his heady action detective experience, she realizes he's a much more complicated case, a case she might not be able to take in her stride.

A family finds itself in a dead-end situation. They are only safe behind the walls of their own house and yard. As time vanishes from their home, the shelter slowly turns into a prison. However, nothing can keep the children from dreaming and yearning to be free and the urge to make a decision seems inevitable.

A historical saga, based on personal stories and the history of Brda (a region near the border in the west of Slovenia), depicts a bloody history of Europe, full of wars, nationalisms and at the same time cohabitation, which is always personal and common to everyone.
