(참고로 완전히 코믹스판으로 연재했던 버전은 건 스미스 캣츠 애장판 4권에 권말부록으로 수록되어 있습니다.) 본 작품은 작가나 팬 모두 건 스미스 캣츠의 전신으로 인정하는 작품입니다만, 건 스미스 캣츠가 권총을 주로 한 건 액션물인 것과 달리 카 액션물입니다. 아무래도 주인공이 건 스미스 캣츠의 유명한 운반책 빈 밴딧이다 보니. 단지 건 스미스 캣츠에선 설정이 변경되는 부분이 몇 있기 때문에 소위 '제로' 개념의 전작이라 보긴 약간 어렵다는 점은 있습니다. 라리 빈센트가 백인에 처음부터 빈의 동료로 나온다든가 하는 점이 대표적.
