Michel works there manically solving people's problems over the phone. He is about to tie the knot with his girl friend Isabelle, an airline hostess. She flies all over the world, he hates to leave the office. A series of madcap mishaps involving theft or injury (as you would expect in his line of work) ensues after Michel promises Isabelle nothing will delay their marriage and she promises in turn that she's done flying. Once this unlikely promise is made, it becomes premise and both are forced into escalating white lies to maintain the appearance of keeping their word. Their predicament mounts as Isabelle is forced to do a few more flights, while Michel is compelled to travel to New York, Tunisia, and finally Hong Kong, where they are finally reunited in the throes of a contrived and hilarious drug deal involving a 747, water taxi chases, and martial arts.

Marc runs a psychotherapy course at a large country house belonging to his wife Colette. His clients are depressed and his job is to cure them of their neuroses.

The widow Champbaudet believes herself loved by an architect. But the young man actually has views on the neighbor upstairs. Cunning, he multiplies his visits to the widow with the sole aim of getting closer to the beautiful Aglaé. It was without counting on the husband of this one, whose jealousy could well play nasty tricks on the heartthrob of these ladies!

끌로드 베리 감독의 유년시절 경험이 반영된 작품. 2차 대전 막바지의 프랑스, 반복되는 독일의 공습을 피해 유대인 부부는 자신의 아들을 전쟁 기간 동안 프랑스의 시골 마을로 피신을 보낸다. 소년은 자신이 유대인임을 숨기고 노부부 밑에서 전쟁이 끝나기를 기다리며 지낸다. 이렇게 반유대주의자 할아버지(미셸 시몽)와 유대인 소년의 따뜻한 동거 일기가 시작된다.

셀레스틴은 파리에서 내려와, 그 지방 중류 계층의 한 가정에서 하녀로 일한다. 그런데 그 가정이라는게 괴이하기 짝이 없다. 집주인 라부르는 발에 집착하는 괴벽을 가지고 있고, 그의 딸 몽테일 부인은 대부분의 시간을 방에 틀어 박혀 알 수 없는 실험을 하며 보낸다. 거기다 그 남편인 몽테일은 집안에서 일하는 모든 여자를 임신시키는 고약한 습관을 갖고 있다. 집안의 모든 남자들은 성적으로 "경험이 많을" 것으로 생각되는 대도시에 서 온 셀레스틴에게 관심을 갖게 되는데, 거기에는 하인인 조제프도 포함된다.
