When an earthquake occurs in the prison where Julius (35) has been held for the last few years, the warden receives a word from Julius’s village that a tsunami might be coming to his village, located quite far from the prison. Julius receives priority to go home since he still has a mother, Emola (90s), in the village. The warden assigns a newly appointed officer, Nuri (25), to escort Julius on a motorcycle. On their way, Julius and Nuri are convinced that the tsunami is going to happen in Julius’s village. They cross paths with several refugees and rescuers, who has just evacuated the residents and reports the chaos occurring in Julius’ hometown due to the signs of approaching tsunami. Arriving at the village, Julius and Nuri witness a robbery coordinated by fake rescue team.

Amalia grows believing that she is nothing before having these things above. She applies the same principle for Aqil, her only child. But life says another. Aqil is adjudged to have dyslexia. Amalia decides to find a cure for Aqil. Their journey confronts Amalia to many unexpected things: her own inner conflict, her trauma, as well as tests of her status as a mother. Amalia who has thought to control all things, is now realizing that he has no control over her world and Aqil. The world in the eyes of Aqil is a place rich in color and full of interesting things, where everything is possible at any time. Amalia has to give up his world of rigid black-and-white to be ransacked in the their journey. Amalia is facing the worst possibility in her life: losing Aqil.

커피를 매개로 자신의 내면을 들여다보고 과거를 온전히 받아들이는 것에 대해 이야기하는 영화. 벤과 조디는 인도네시아 최고의 커피 맛을 자랑하는 커피숍 ‘필로소피 코피’를 운영하고 있다. 한 사업가가 ‘완벽한 한 잔’의 커피를 만들 수 있겠느냐고 도전적인 제안을 던지자, 벤과 조디는 부모님과의 관계를 돌아보고 힘들었던 과거를 다시 떠올리는 모험을 시작하게 된다. 가족과 성장통, 우정에 대한 이야기와 함께 커피에 대해 완전히 새로운 관점을 제시하는 작품이다.
