낮에는 탈리사이에서 시장 선거 운동원으로 활동하고 있는 도나. 밤에는 마닐라에서 성매매자로 일하는 소피아. 트랜스젠더 여성인 그녀는 비밀스러운 이중생활을 양자 토마스로부터 숨기며 더 밝은 앞날을 바라고 있다. 그런데 그녀의 두 삶이 우연히 겹치게 되자 도나/소피아는 윤리적 진퇴양난 상황에 빠지게 된다.
