10대 소녀 졸린은 고아이다. 10년이 넘도록 대륙을 가로 지르며 만나는 남자마다 파란만장한 삶의 여정을 기록한다. 15살의 나이에 아무것도 모르고 한 결혼은 남편의 삼춘과의 불륜으로 파경을 맞고 그 다음 만난 남자는 마약 중독자였다. 그리고 또 그 다음 남자는 그녀를 끔직하게 위해 주는 신사였으나 암흑가의 인물이었고 어느날 갑자기 암살 당한다. 그리고 그 다음의 청혼은 부유한 집안의 자제 , 미남에 더 없는 매너로 아이까지 낳으며 행복한 생활을 꾸려 나갔지만 어느날 부터 시작되는 졸린의 과거에 대한 병적인 집착과 의심, 구타와 정신적인 압박. 사랑은 어느 자리에도 쉽게 그녀 곁에 다가서지 않는다.
