약력

Hong Hui Fang started acting after completing her drama training course. Over the years, she has made viewers sit up and take note of her impeccable acting skills. This dedicated artiste constantly seeks out new ways to improve herself. Hui Fang’s defining role in her career was that of a conniving and gullible samsui woman in 1986’s Samsui Women. It was that breakthrough that pushed Hui Fang to the pinnacle of her career. Hui Fang further outshone the field in Star Awards ‘97 where she picked up the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in Price Of Peace. Her convincing portrayal of a housewife being gang raped by Japanese soldiers spurred an onslaught of sympathies from viewers. Since then, she has clinched one challenging role after another. In 1999, Hui Fang was invited by Singapore's most popular filmmaker and actor Jack Neo to perform in his movie - That One Not Enough. Hui Fang was seen in the dramas such as Reach For The Skies, Babies On Board, While You Were Away and Hello From The Other Side.

싱가폴. 남편과 사별하고 하나뿐인 아들 샘(32)과 함께 살고 있는 언티(58). 여느 싱가폴 아줌마처럼 집안 일을 하고 아들을 챙기며, 여유시간엔 근처 공원에서 친구들과 라인댄스를 추며 시간을 보낸다. 한류스타 여진구가 나오는 한류 드라마를 보며 한국어를 배우는 것이 그녀의 유일한 즐거움이다. 구정연휴에 샘과 함께 드라마촬영지를 관광하는 꿈에 그리던 한국 행 그룹투어를 예약한다. 하지 만 샘은 미국에 있는 회사에 면접이 잡혀 이번 여행을 취소해야한다고 말한다. 언제부턴가 비밀 이 많아진 샘. 언티는 이런 저런 이유를 들며 샘이 싱가폴에 남아 있기를 설득하지만 샘은 확고 하다. 결혼 후 30여년 동안 가족을 돌보는 것이 자신의 일이었던 언티.그 가족이 사라지고 혼자 남게 되었을 때 그녀의 삶의 의미는 무엇일까? 언티는 홀로 한국 여행을 떠난다. 인천공항에 도착하자마자, 언티는 이 여행이 생각했던 것과는 다르다는 것을 알게 된다. 관광버 스는 싱가폴 여행객들 대신 시끄러운 중국인 관광객들로 가득 차 있고, 여행가이드 권우(32)는 빚 독촉에 쫓기느랴 여행객들을 돌보는 데는 뒷전이다. 사채업자들을 피해 가족과 별거중인 권우, 구정 선물을 준다며 투어버스를 이끌고 처가에 들린 다. 아내와 딸은 만나지도 못하고 장모에게 문전박대 당하는 권우. 고달픈 인생이다. 언티가 버스 밖으로 잠시 나간사이 권우는 돌아와 출발해 버리고, 결국 여행 첫날 언티는 그룹에서 떨어져 혼 자 남게 된다. 여권과 지갑은 관광버스에 있고, 전화기도 부서져 버렸다. 어떻게 해야 할지 너무 막막해 길에 앉아 있던 언티는 아파트 경비로 일하고 있던 정수(65)와 눈이 마주친다. 덥수룩한 수염에 무뚝 뚝한 인상의 정수. 언티는 드라마에서 배웠던 몇 마디 한국어와 영어를 섞어 도움을 청한다. 정 수는 처음엔 망설이지만 익숙지 않은 추위에 떨고 있는 언티를 보고 돕기로 결심한다.

Undeterred, Eric Kwek sets on an unbelievable musical journey that sees him through mostly lows and finally hits a high when he is at the ripe old age of 50. The film aims to highlight that one must believe and persist in his aspirations regardless of age!
