It's been a tough week for Peter Parker. His two best friends are mad at him, Aunt May is behind on the bills and Flash Thompson is still bullying him at school. It hasn't been a cake walk for Spider-Man either. The Enforcers are trying to destroy him, the Vulture is seeking revenge on Mr. Osborn, Electro is wreaking havoc on the city and his mentor, Dr. Connors, just transformed into The Lizard - a reptile on the rampage. But with great power comes great responsibility and Peter Parker wouldn't have it any other way!

Kim and Ron start out a new school year, only to find out that Ron's family is moving to Norway. This puts a strain on their partnership, just as Dr. Drakken, Monkey Fist, and Duff Killigan team up to find and use an ancient time travel device to rule the world. Attacking Kim in the past, present, and future, can these villians succeed? Or will an unforeseen force be more destructive?

전투에서 파트너 워프를 잃은 버즈는 다시는 동료를 위험에 빠뜨리지 않겠다고 결심한다. 우주 사령부는 버즈의 반대에도 불구하고 버즈의 새로운 파트너로 노바를 지목한다. 한편 우주를 지배하려는 악당 저그 황제는 LGM(Little Green Men) 혹성의 그린맨들을 납치하고, 버즈와 노바에게는 LGM 혹성을 구하는 임무가 주어진다.

오리지널 만화책을 원작으로 한 90년대 TV만화시리즈가 팀 버튼의 영화로 스타일이 살아 넘치는 애니메이션 어드벤처로 만들어졌다.
1960년대 버전의 배트맨과는 달리 이 버전에서는 정의의 슈퍼 히어로에 대한 강박관념으로 반쯤 미친 배트맨이 되었다. 이 이야기는 Dark Knight 가 잡히지 않는 환영을 잡으려는 노력을 뒤쫓으면서 배트맨의 기원을 그린 성인 애니메이션 작품이다.
