어느 날, 런던의 한 펍에서 글의 소재를 찾기 위해 영국으로 온 작가 ‘샘슨 영(빌리 밥 손튼)’과 사기꾼이자 다트 선수인 ‘키스 탤런트(짐 스터게스)’, 상류층 은행가 ‘가이 클린치(테오 제임스)’, 그리고 미스터리하면서도 매혹적인 여인 ‘니컬라 식스(앰버 허드)’가 조우한다. 그 중 ‘니컬라 식스’는 미래를 볼 줄 아는 여인으로 언젠가 자신이 살해당할 것이라는 예감을 가진 채 살아왔으며, 그날 펍에서 만난 세 남자 중 자신을 살해할 남자가 있다는 사실을 안다. 그리고 그런 ‘니컬라 식스’에게 강한 매력을 느낀 세 남자는 그녀에게 속절없이 빠져드는데… 과연 그녀는 누구의 손에 살해당할 것인가?

Jesus of Suburbia represents the average lower middle-class suburban American teen. He hates his town and those living in it, so decides to leave his home in the suburbs and go to the city to finally set free of the well-established structures of the conservative American society that surrounds him.
