Josef is a writer aged sixty, who thinks that nothing can surprise him any more. Before this can happen, the master sends his apprentice out into the world with the task of looking for a mythical watch that can warn of death. No one knows if the watch even exists, but if Urban doesn't bring it back, Laura will never be his wife. The watchmaker's apprentice therefore sets out on a long journey full of hardships, which he must overcome with bravery, skill and a good heart.

OUT is an odyssey about 50 year old family man Agoston wandering through East Europe. After loosing his lifelong job in a power plant of small Slovak village Agoston takes the shady but alluring opportunity to work as a welder in a shipyard in Latvia. The journey in hopes of a new job in reality turns into a accelerating whirlwind of absurd events of short encounters, newly found-and-lost-again friendships subtracting from Agoston all his possessions and everything he once believed to be his whole life. However Agoston doesn't give up his search for income and decides to persuade his dream of catching a big sea fish.

1983년, 체코슬로바키아 작은 마을의 초등학교에 마리아 드라즈데초바라는 여교사가 한 학급의 담임으로 부임한다. 학교 공산당 대표당원인 교사 마리아는 첫날부터 학생들에게 부모의 직업을 조사한 후 가사노동에서 연애까지 개인적인 일로 착취를 일삼기 시작한다. 이를 거부하는 부모의 학생에게는 최저점의 성적과 인신공격이 기다리고 있을 뿐이다. 결국 한 소녀가 자살을 시도하게 되고 분노한 학부모들이 긴급 회의를 소집하여 탄원서를 제출하자는 의견이 나오지만, 혜택을 본 아이들의 부모들은 소극적이다. 또 이후에 받을 불이익에 대한 두려움으로 서명하기를 주저하는데, 과연 탄원서는 접수 될 수 있을까? 막강한 권력에 맞선 작은 외침이 변화를 일으킬 수 있을까?

A small border town in the south of Slovakia is surprised by the sudden arrival of respected builder Mr. Hampl and his young wife Nada. She catches the eye of an equally young local teacher, Daniel, who is still recovering from his military experience in The Second World War. At first, Nada tries to resist Daniel's charm but her decision is complicated by the scent of flowering agave in the hot summer air. When the agave after 30 years of sleep finally blooms, Nada's primary decision not to give in is permanently void... A simple love story on the surface opens into to a deep, psychological study set in the hot summer of 1947. The Second World War has just ended and the Communist coup is waiting in the wings to wipe nearly a whole generation of Slovak intelligentsia from the history.

Just out of prison, Tomáš, a taciturn loner, takes a job cleaning houses where people have recently died. Things take an alarming turn when he begins putting in overtime: hiding behind closet doors after hours to secretly watch the homes’ residents. Virtually without exception, a relation between parents and children is something that affects us throughout our lives. The first fiction film by award-winning documentarist Jaro Vojtek is an omnibus film about complicated relationships between parents and their children in which characters are challenged with long-term separation or declining health. Thus begins Zoltán's incredible journey.
