In her early forties, Sofia lives in the mountains, isolated from the world, a place where even basic Internet technology seems to be an unknown entity.
She runs an old farmhouse, located at the highest point outside the village, an age-old structure that she has converted into a holiday farm, whilst taking tending to her cows, her curative herbs and producing special milk used for the making top-quality Parmesan. One day, a foreigner from a well-known telecommunications company shows up. He considers that particular location the ideal spot to erect a cellphone repeater, a tower that will bring progress not only to Sofia, but to the whole area…
How can ancient customs, peaceful silence and recipes coexist with the inevitable approach of new technologies which can improve our lives?

Salvo and Lea travel in the night in a refrigerator truck. Theirs is a mysterious destination as well as the cargo they carry. That journey becomes an opportunity to discuss their abruptly interrupted relationship. Suspended between a past that made them happy and a present that oscillates between resentment and a desire for love, Salvo and Lea travel on a night that seems to have no end.

1990년대 이탈리아의 사르데냐, “아산디라”라는 이름의 작은 리조트가 큰 화재에 휩싸이고 사람들이 목숨을 잃는다. 이 현장에서 사루는 망연자실한 표정으로 기억을 더듬으며 경찰과 함께 범인을 찾으려 한다. 그리 멀지 않은 과거, 이 지역에서 오랫동안 살아온 사루는 아들의 제안으로 ‘이국적인’ 느낌을 원하는 관광객들을 대상으로 관광 사업을 시작한다.

25-year-old aspiring artist Vera shares a flat in Rome near the Colosseum with friends Amedeo and Clelia. One rainy afternoon, Vera is standing in front of her wardrobe before. She has an appointment with a man who could solve all her problems. She has to get dressed and pulls out all her clothes. Each piece of clothing evokes a memory or a particular moment in her life. In this way, her search for something to wear, transforms itself into a nostalgia trip. In the end, Vera acquires a new understanding of herself and the world. She learns that to express truly-lived feelings through art is what really matters to her.
