삼형제의 맏이로 부모님 대신 동생들을 돌보며 살아가는 소년의 유일한 취미는 병아리를 부화시키는 것이다. 그러나 여우에게 닭이 물려 죽기도 하는 등 계속된 실패로 소년은 매번 좌절을 맛보지만 시간은 흐르고 마침내 부화에 성공하게 된다. 가족의 보살핌이 결핍된 아이들의 사랑에 대한 갈구를 병아리의 부화에 비유하여 은유적으로 잘 표현한 점이 돋보인다. (2015년 제32회 부산국제단편영화제/김영조)

When late in life was presenting Cimrman his artistic activity, came arresting knowledge: none of the works he had signed, not recognition. And so he decided to retreat to the anonymity of the author and become folklore. Clairvoyantly recognized that the modern era marked for extinction of folk creativity in areas such as the national song, story, legend, proverb or weather lore. The only thing from the oral folklore of die and stay alive is an anecdote. And she plays a significant role in his play Lijavec.
The time is 1945-46. 10 year old Eda and his friend Tonda live in a small village outside Prague. In school, their class is so wild and indisciplined that their teacher quits and is replaced by the militant Igor Hnidzo. He is very strict - but also very just. The story begins in 1984 in Prague, Czechoslovakia, few years before the end of Communist era. The band Pražský výběr (Prague's selection) has just received the news thier 5-year ban has expired and they are alowed to perform once again. This half fantasy half document about the band would draw the atmosphere of middle european late Communist era and the eufory of it's end.
