보름달 밤의 끝. 죽은 이와 한 번 더 만날 수도 있는 기적. ‘달 그림자 현상’. 행복한 날들이 무심코 지나가던 중 ‘사츠키’의 연인 ‘히토시’에게 갑작스런 사고가 일어난다. 사고 이후 ‘사츠키’는 깊은 슬픔에 짓눌려 지내는데… 일상을 되찾아 가는 그녀 앞에 나타난 ‘우라라’ 그녀에게 이끌려 ‘달 그림자 현상’에 조금씩 다가간다.

Aki and Naoko are childhood friends who are drifting apart as adults. Immersed in her family life, Naoko now has a husband and daughter; Aki, on the other hand, remains single and is on leave from work due to a personal crisis. The plot might sound familiar but it has never been told like this. The director Kusano Natsuka stages the interactions through an actors’ table-read and, as the lines are repeated, the scenes gradually develop into on-location conversations. Moreover, she repositions the dramatic peak of the story to the beginning: Aki has murdered Naoko’s daughter.

30대 후반에 접어든 네 명의 친구 아키라, 사쿠라코, 준, 후미. 모든 것을 공유하며 서로를 가장 잘 안다고 생각했지만, 사실은 말할 수 없는 고민을 가지고 있다. 어느 날 준은 이혼 소송 중이라는 폭탄선언을 하고 갑자기 자취를 감춘다. 그러면서 이들은 “진짜 행복이란 게 무엇인지” 자신을 솔직히 들여다보며 인생을 되돌아보게 되는데...

Keito Myose (Yuya Yagira) and Yuichi Saeki (Masato Yano) were involved in a horrible case when they were young. They are now all grown up, but still suffering from that incident. At night, Keito and Yuichi meet again. A woman who is an acquaintance of Keito is killed in Keito's room. While the police investigates, a detective tells him "... you know Yuichi Saeki is a suspect and is on the country's most wanted list..."

서로 뒤얽혀버린 두 여자 사이의 있을 것 같지 않은 우정을 그린 여성 드라마. 서로 다른 두 여성이 함께 시나리오를 작업하면서 유대감을 형성해나가는 과정이 흥미롭다.

아버지를 잃고, 이복형 토고와 그의 연인 사토미와 함께 살고 있는 치히로에게는 고독의 그림자가 짙게 깔려있다. 치히로가 열중하는 것은 동료 나오야와의 춤으로, 서로의 몸에 끊임없이 다가서면서도 결코 건드리지 말아야할 몸짓들이다. 한편, 나오야는 여자 친구와 결별해 상심에 잠기는데, 그 사이에 치히로가 끼어들면서 예상치 못한 비극으로 치닫는다. 이 중편은 완결작이 아니라 구상 단계에 있는 장편 " FLOODS"를 향한 예고편이다.(2019년 제2회 짧고 굵은 아시아영화제)
