오래된 친구들이 모인 어느 저녁 식사 자리, 도모야와 가호가 약혼을 발표한다. 친구들은 두 사람을 축하해 주지만 한편으로는 어색한 미소와 불편한 침묵이 자리에 감돈다. 이날 이후 친구들은 과거에 있었던 일들과 서로 숨기고 있었던 감정을 조금씩 끄집어낸다.
