The boy doubted the tomato he ate and visited a tomato farm to find out what happened to him. There he met a scary farmer and ran away. The mother still tries to make her son able to eat a tomato. The third part of a trilogy focusing on the Tohoku region that is comprised of dialogues with victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake. Ideas on how to share experiences of the disaster with future generations, a challenge touched upon in the previous films The Sound of Waves and Voices from the Waves, is found in folk tales from the region. Co-directed by Sakai Ko and Hamaguchi Ryusuke.

Impromptu interviews were carried out with disaster victims mainly along the Sanriku Coast, which had been ravaged by tsunamis several times prior to the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011, and makes emotional discoveries within dialogues between close-knit people including families and workmates.

People infected with it begin to attack other human beings for blood. The one and only way to prevent the attacks of the infected people is getting vaccinated and becoming one of them. Kawano has volunatrily chosen to be infected for absorbing in the research. His girlfriend Taeko is worried about him and visits the laboratory. She tries to rescue Kawano in cooperation with his friend Sawamura, a medical practitioner in town: meanwhile, the mysterious black substance has started pouring down from the sky...
