암스테르담에 있는 안네 프랑크 박물관. 폭풍우가 몰아치던 날, 안네의 일기를 보관하던 유리관이 깨지고, 신비한 일이 일어난다. 일기장에만 존재하는 안네의 상상 속 친구 키티가 현대의 유럽에서 되살아난 것이다. 일기와 함께 있어야만 존재할 수 있다는 사실을 알게 된 키티는 불법체류난민 보호소를 운영하는 피터와 함께 일기를 가지고 안네의 흔적을 찾아 나선다. 아리 폴만이 2013년작 [더 콩그레스] 이후 무려 9년만에 선보이는 애니메이션 [안네 프랑크를 찾아서]는 안네 프랑크의 일기가 보여주는 휴머니즘의 가치를 현대 유럽을 떠도는 난민들의 상황과 연결시킨다. 물신화된 안네 프랑크가 아닌, 비극 속에서도 끊임없이 삶을 사랑했던 소녀 안네의 이야기는 75년이 지난 지금도 유효하다. 과거와 현재, 현실과 판타지를 아름다운 그림체와 유려한 이야기 구조로 풀어낸 마법 같은 작품.

The story features a young girl whose grandfather dies from Ebola and puts the rest of her family at risk. The film makes visible the invisible Ebola germs to help people realize how Ebola spreads and how to protect themselves. Critical messages are woven through the story so that people better understand Ebola, see themselves within the context of an outbreak, and learn how to keep themselves safe from the disease and protect their communities.

만인의 연인이였던 여배우 로빈 라이트(로빈 라이트)는 세월이 흐르고 나이가 들어가면서 점점 스타의 자리에서 물러나고 대중들에게 외면 받기 시작한다. 한편 기술과 문명의 발달로 영화계는 배우들을 스캔해서 컴퓨터 프로그램화시키는 새로운 단계에 접어든다. 이에 세계 최대 영화 제작사 미라마운트는 로빈 라이트에게 영원히 젊은 모습으로 살게 해주겠다며 거액과 함께 스캔에 참여할 것을 요구한다. 두 번 다시 실제로 연기를 할 수 없다는 현실과 영원히 젊고 아름다운 배우로 남을 수 있다는 이상 속에 로빈은 결국 20년 동안 스캔한 캐릭터를 자유롭게 사용할 수 있다는 계약에 사인하게 되는데…
