The inhabitants of a decrepit inner-city tenement building are terrified to discover that the malevolent spirit of a former tenant has been summoned when one of the current residents broke an unspoken vow. Now, as demolition day draws near, the enraged entity sets out to cause as much mischief as possible before the wrecking ball strikes.

The three also befriended a couple living next door whose son died of traffic accident years ago. They also come to know a freakish cartoonist in the neighborhood. Assigned to track and apprehend a serial rapist, Inspector Wong (Chan Kwok-bong) tries to question the latest victim, psychiatrist / screenwriter (!) Mazy Hui (UN BAISER VOLE's Natalie Ng Man-yan, badly miscast), but she is too distraught to offer any leads. Flashbacks reveal her assailant to be Sin Ho-fun (Samuel Leung Cheuk-moon), a homely, put-upon crew member, whom Mazy tried to help via a free discussion session in her office. The paranoid and delusional Sin soon misinterprets one of her comments and, later that day, drugs and rapes the woman, the first in a series of assaults he perpetrates. Once she has recovered, Mazy and Wong join forces in order to apprehend Sin, who has now graduated to murder.
Stephen is about to enter University. He's been with his girlfriend Sophia for a while but he still hasn't made love to her because she's shy. When Stephen goes to University, he meets Amy and suddenly finds himself torn between two women.
