In this short subject (which mostly represents a departure from Disney's traditional approach to animation), a stuffy owl teacher lectures his feathered flock on the origins of Western musical instruments. Starting with cavepeople, whose crude implements could only "toot, whistle, plunk and boom," the owl explains how these beginnings led to the development of the four basic types of Western musical instruments: brass, woodwinds, strings, and percussion.

도서관에서 `바실레드본`이 케네스 그래햄의 책 `버드나무 속의 바람` 이야기에 나오는 토드 홀의 대자주 도트씨에 관해서 이야기를 하면서 시작된다. 그는 자동차를 너무 좋아하고 집착한 나머지 토드 홀의 땅문서를 잃게 되고, 자동차 도둑으로 몰려서 감옥에 갇히게 된다. 그의 친구 쥐와 두더지, 맥바저는 그를 돕기 위해 노력하고 토드는 감옥을 탈출하게 되는데, 술집주인 윙키와 협작꾼의 음모였음을 알게되고, 재산을 되찾아 누명을 벗게된다. 토드는 정신을 차리게 되지만 1908년 산비행기를 보고는 다시 눈이 돌아가는데...   다시 도서관에서 빙 크로스비는 `워싱톤 어빙`의 작품 전설에 대한 이야기를 시작한다. 새로 부임한 학교 교사 이카보드는 슬리피 할로우에 오자마자 뭍 여성들의 마음을 사로잡는다. 하지만 유일하게 부잣집 딸 카트리나는 그에게 무관심하고, 이카보드는 그녀의 재산을 탐낸다. 이미 카트리나에게는 사랑하는 구혼자 브롬본스가 있었으니, 그는 `목없는 기사` 이야기를 들려주며 이카보드에게 겁을 주어 쫓아버리려고한다. 이카보드가 바로 그 할로윈 밤에 말을 타고 집으로 돌아오고 있을때, 그는 그 무서운 유령과 마주치고, 수수께끼처럼 다음날 아침 실종된다. 마을 사람들이 이카보드의 행방에 대한 소문을 퍼뜨리는 동안 카트리나는 브롬과 결혼한다.

부분적으로 만화, 부분적으로는 실사로서 리무스 아저씨 이야기들을 영화화하였다. 쟈니의 불행한 가정생활 부분은 실사로서 처리되었고 리무스 아저씨에 의해 돌보아지는 부분에선 만화로서 Tar-baby, Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox 등의 인물들이 등장한다.

Goofy narrates his own quest to Africa accompanied by various tour guides. He is in search of wild game. After run-ins with various animals while camping for the night and taking his morning plunge (ruined by a hippo that takes all the water with him when exiting the pool), he sets off in search of the black rhinoceros. Unfortunately for Goofy, the rhino is prepared for Goofy (thanks to a stool pigeon bird resting on his horn) and charges him. Goofy tries his gun against the rhino but the rhino is still to much for Goofy so he leaves Africa and leaves the rhino for other hunters.

아주 먼 옛날, 왕비는 뱃속의 아이가 눈처럼 하얀 피부에 사과처럼 붉은 입술, 장미빛 뺨을 지닌 공주이기를 빌었다. 드디어 왕비는 예쁜 공주를 낳고 그녀를 백설공주라 불렀다. 백설공주는 모든 사람들의 사랑을 받으며 자라났지만 왕비가 죽고 새로 들어온 계모가 여왕이 되자 혹독한 시달림을 받는다. 계모에게는 신비로운 마술 거울이 있었는데, 어느 날 여왕이 세상에서 가장 아름다운 사람은 누구냐고 질문하자 마술 거울은 백설공주라고 대답한다. 분노한 여왕은 사냥꾼을 불러 백설공주를 죽이도록 명령하지만, 사냥꾼은 백설공주의 순수한 마음씨에 감동하여 그녀를 죽이는 대신 계모를 피해서 도망치도록 일러주는데...
