After failing to beat Rhoma in both music and women, Ramlan uses other cunning tricks. He does a duet with Camelia Malik aka Mia that is a huge success even though she is dating Rhoma. Ramlan proposes to his producer, Niko, to draw Mia out of their rival record company. Niko agrees with him. Hence, Ramlan gets his girlfriend Maya, who is addicted to drugs, to seduce Rhoma, and to drug Rhoma’s drink. When Rhoma is unconscious, Maya and Rhoma are photographed together in bed. The images are distributed to the newspapers, where it becomes a huge gossip. Then Mia is drawn to Niko’s company. Maya, who truly loves Ramlan, catches him in the act when Ramlan is about to rape Mia. Maya reveals the secret to Mia. Meanwhile, Rhoma, who is devastated, withdraws to his teacher’s place. There he is advised to change his name and start again from zero. Rhoma’s new persona is Zulfikar and he successfully receives a recording contract from Niko for his vocal similarities with Rhoma.

This is the story of one of the heroes of independence from South Sulawesi - Wolter Monginsidi. Monginsidi is portrayed as a flamboyant young man, brave and daring yet emotional at times. He and his troops always ambush the Dutch until they are finally caught. His father is persuaded to sign the clemency form, which turns out to be a trap, set up by the Dutch. He receives the death sentence instead.

Rafiq is a dangdut singer who comes to Jakarta to advance his career. Parto, his friend from the same village tries to represent him to different recording companies. But they differ because of Rafiq’s naivete and Parto’s city-style plus Parto’s insistence on pop music, and Rafiq’s dedication to dangdut. So their conflict is resolved by a music expert and student, Norma, who is researching dangdut music, and who eventually becomes Rafiq’s girlfriend. But the person who manages to get Rafiq a record deal is Lily, whom Rafiq meets when working in a car shop. Finally, Rafiq gains Norma’s hand when her parents approve their relationship.

Suparto's wife, Sulastri, comes to Jakarta when she hears about her husband's unfaithfulness. Then Suparto realizes that Roostinah is sent to seduce him, but when he returns to Sulastri, she rejects him. His crime is discovered and Suparto is sent to prison. When he completes his sentence, Suparto joins the migration to Sumatra. Then Sulastri accepts him again.
Abidin
The status of natives and the Dutch is like earth and heaven. Abidin, a native, is forbidden to associate with Frieda, a girl with Indonesian and Dutch blood. After they are separated by the circumstances, Abidin, who already has a family runs into Frieda again. Although they still have some feelings towards each other, they must face each other as enemies. This last meeting brings Frieda to her tragic end.
