아카데미 편집상에 노미네이트. 로스앤젤레스 메모리엘 콜로세움에서 9만여 관중이 운집한 가운데 미식축구 결승전이 벌어지는 날 맞은 편 호텔방에서 정체 불명의 한 사나이가 자동 망원 렌즈가 달린 고성능 라이플로 살인 행각을 벌인다. 침착하게 그 살인자는 콜로세움 방향으로 나선다. 주경기장내 횃불탑에 오른 그는 경기 내내 그곳에 머물며 시합종료 2분을 알리는 신호가 울리길 기다린다. 그는 응원을 펼치는 죄없는 관중을 향해 그의 라이플을 겨누는데 피터 홀리 서장(Capt. Middle-class suburbanites Larry and Kitty grow bored with their lives and respective marriages. Although each always found the other's manner grating, they fall in love when thrown together--without their spouses--on vacation. On returning home they try to break things off, only to grow closer. A holiday together will finally settle whether they should end their marriages.
When Navy pilot Dale Heath takes off, he doesn't expect his navigational equipment to fail and must adapt when it goes out along with his radio.
