현상금 사냥꾼 제임스는 현상금 수배자인 악명높은 블레이크 남매, 노빌과 머피 일당을 블러드 베이로 데려가 현상금과 교환하려 한다. 블러드 베이로 향하는 기차를 타려고 올라탄 순간, 제임스는 도륙의 현장을 발견하고 사람을 잡아먹는 좀비에게서 힘들게 벗어나 그곳에서 홀로 살아남은 전도사를 만나게 되는데… 아내를 꼭 찾아야만 한다는 전도사는 제임스 일행과 함께하기를 청하고 졸지에 제임스는 수배자 일당과 전도사와 함께 좀비를 소탕하며 블러드 베이로 향한다. 하지만 이들이 도착한 그곳엔 끔찍한 반전이 도사리고 있다!
