It is a legend, shaped by a prolonged of economic crisis, in a country that once was, and its name is Indonesia. Sukab is a dog thief whose family has also become dogs. Sukab targeted dogs wherever he could, hunting down dogs that let their guard down, and would never have guessed how his fate would end up as a dish for a family.

This film tries to read the idea of film archiving in the mind of Misbach Yusa Biran. A character who gave his entire life to preserve and reinterpret the discourse of film as a source of Indonesian film history. The archives stored are entirely in Sinematek Indonesia.
This film almost literally visualize three short stories on which it is based. The difficulty was to assign real spaces in the film for the world of short stories that does not require material reality. The question of ”What is love?” is stretched into three periods: the 70s, the 80s and the 90s. The story which is divided into three periods is trying to reveal the story of the main characters through three different periods of their lives.
