A group of friends' attempt to repair their strained relationship by celebrating a birthday at a remote desert home falls apart when one disappears and their lives are changed forever.
In a total destruction of social constructs, Carl decides to crash the wedding of his former best friends taking place in the California desert. While he was initially invited to the wedding, he became disinvited once his fiancé broke up with him and his friends chose her side.
