10년 전 연쇄살인 사건을 일으킨 살인마 `해변의 도살자`가 수감된 정신병원에서 탈출한다. 한편, 휴가를 떠난 4명의 청년들은 재개장한 10년 전 사건의 놀이공원을 찾게 되고 놀이공원 안 '어둠의 열차'에 들어간 청년들은 그곳에서 수상한 인기척을 느끼게 된다.
