주인공의 직업전반을 따라가며 노동의 과정을 열심히도 보여주는데 이 부분이 영화의 절반은 차지하는 것 같다. 특별한 의도나 효과를 노리고 있는 건 아니라서 다 들어내도 영화의 인상에 영향을 미치지는 않을 것 같아 보임. 우직하고 순박한 얀 트로엘의 리얼리즘.
