아무 일도 벌어지지 않는 조용한 도시 컷뱅크에서 처음으로 우체부가 살해당하는 사건이 일어난다. 여자친구 카산드라의 홍보 영상을 촬영하던 드웨인은 이 살해 현장을 카메라에 담게 되고, 그 비디오로 거액의 포상급을 받을 수 있다는 사실을 알게 된다. 첫 살인사건으로 도시는 혼란에 빠지지만, 거동이 불편한 아버지를 모시는 드웨인은 포상금을 받으면 대도시로 떠날 날을 꿈꾼다. 곧 살인사건 수사가 시작되지만 이후 또다시 발견되는 시체들로 인해 수사는 미궁에 빠져버리고, 우체부 살인사건에 숨겨진 충격적인 비밀이 드러나게 된다.

1959, support from US troops based in Asia and later from the Sates enables two actresses to start a charity for mixed-race 'orphans' who are locally neglected as outcasts. Thus originates Childhelp, which later runs multi-disciplinary centers for abused and/or neglected children in the States. Among them is bright Jacob Fletcher, whose stepfather, a lawyer, terrorized him into utter trauma and reclaims him shortly after 10 months in jail. Jacob's peers have distressing stories of their own, but competent, devoted staff helps most of them decisively on the former farm, using animal therapy.

진저 스냅 1편에 이어 언니와 피를 나눔으로써 늑대인간이 되어가는 브리짓은 자신이 늑대인간으로 변하는 것을 막기 위해 멍크스 후드 추출액으로 만든 주사를 맞고 이 마을 저 마을을 전전하며 도망 다닌다. 주사액의 과다 투여로 코마 상태에 빠진 그녀는 여성 약물중독 재활병동에서 깨어난다. 멍크스 후드 추출액을 약물의 일종으로 생각한 병동의 책임자는 주사액을 빼앗아 버리고 늑대인간으로의 변형을 막아줄 주사액조차 없는 상황에서 점점 더 괴물로 변해가는 그녀는 조급함을 느낀다. 어린 약물 중독자와 기이한 스태프들로 가득 찬 병원에서 만화책에 빠져있는 한 어린 소녀만이 그녀의 유일한 친구이다. 전신 화상을 입고 입원한 할머니와 함께 생활하고 있는 고스트란 이름의 특이한 소녀는 마침내 브리짓의 비밀을 알아내고 브리짓을 도와주려 한다. 그녀의 도움으로 늑대인간의 습격으로부터 도망치고 정신병동을 탈출할 수 있게 되지만 순진하게만 느껴졌던 소녀의 정체가 밝혀지면서 이야기는 전혀 다른 방향으로 진전 된다. 전편보다 강화된 특수효과와 다양한 인물의 등장이 2편의 흥미를 더해준다. 전편에서 언니인 진저와 피를 나눔으로써 늑대인간이 되어가는 브리짓과 다양한 주변 인물들과의 관계를 통해 얼핏 방황하는 10대의 모습과 부조리한 사회의 한 단면을 보여주는 듯하지만 영화 후반부에 이를수록 이야기는 전혀 다른 방향으로 진행되며 종반부의 극적 반전이 흥미를 더해준다. 미성년 약물 중독자를 관리하는 병원 시스템, 복지정책, 병원 스태프에 의한 미성년자 성추행 등 모든 등장인물들은 조롱의 대상이고 늑대인간의 먹이감이다. 주인공인 브리짓조차 극단적인 가학의 대상인데, 결국 마지막에 가서는 모든 출연진에 대해 관객들은 측은한 마음이 들지 않을 수 없게 된다. 늑대인간 이야기를 모태로 갖가지 공포영화의 주제를 한데 모아 놓은 듯한 느낌을 주는 영화.(이민섭)
