Chito Kawachi

Six men and women who are completely underground to one another have been given false memories and are living together as a family in a capsule hall. They know nothing about the outside world, and that they are broadcasted as a real-life soap opera in the imaginary community of Champon City.

Up in Heaven, Yuki’s grandparents decide that, having turned thirteen years old, she must go down to Earth to a village that is torn by bandits and intervene to save its people. However if she does not succeed within one year she will become as insubstantial as the wind. Down in the village, Yuki is befriended by a group of orphans whose parents have all been killed by the bandits and who now subsist by begging. Yuki amazes them by taming the wild horse Blizzard. She is instrumental in getting the orphans and farmers to stand up to first the warring bandits and then Goemon, the greedy lord that owns the region. But Yuki must face her greatest challenge yet when the displeased Demon God that lives in the volcano emerges to destroy those who live beneath.

Nils Holgersson is a young boy on a farm who is cruel to the animals. But when he catches the farm's little goblin it becomes one prank too many. He is magically shrunk and suddenly the farm animals are out for revenge. He flees on the back of the goose Morten and they join up with a flock of wild geese. Together they travel all over Sweden, with Nils hoping to find a way to become big again.

네 남녀의 만남에서 이별까지를 그린다. 나카가미 겐지의 소설집 「18세, 바다로」에 수록되어 있는"타카오와 미츠코"의 장을 영화화했다. 각본은 「청춘의 살인자」의 타무라 타케시와 와타나베 치아키의 공동 집필, 감독은 「더 유연하게 더 강하게」의 후지타 토시하치, 촬영은 「모지리 처녀 러브 어택」의 안도 아츠헤이가 각각 담당했다.
